1. Watermelon

The only fruit which is known to be both fruit and vegetable is watermelon. China is the leading producer of watermelon and produces around 2/3 of the world’s production. More than 1200 varieties of watermelons are found in the world. It is a bulky and round fruit with green outer and red flesh. It contains nearly 92% of water content, and 6% of sugar, and is full of vitamins like A and C. This summer fruit is a good antioxidant and is good for cancer patients and other lung and stomach problems.

2. Mango

The mango originated in India and is still a sign of affection and acquaintance in India. The mango tree can grow about 100 feet tall. It is acknowledged as the King of the fruits. Throughout the world, around 500 types of mangoes are known yet. This juicy fruit is rich in vitamin C and many nutrients and its leaves are very toxic.

A mango fruit takes around 4 months to mature and is checked by squeezing not by color. An unripe mango ripens much faster at room temperature. It is generally yellow, orange, red, or green in color and ripens generally in summer. Different mangoes have different tastes, shapes, sizes, and colors.

3. Tomato

The tomato fruit is generated from the South American Andes of Peru and is generally red in color but sometimes yellow, purple, pink, white, and black also. The chief producer of tomatoes is China. The second main producer of tomatoes is the United States and India is the third prime producer.

Around 7500 categories of tomatoes are found worldwide. It is considered a fruit because of the seeds present in it. Tomato is a good antioxidant rich in vitamins A and C. It helps to fight against cancer and is efficient for the heart. Tomato juice is so full of flavor and is even the official state drink of Ohio.

4. Guava

 A guava plant has a life span of 40 years and grows 20 feet long. It is an oval fruit and has a light green or yellow skin and pink, seedy flesh at the center containing 100-500 tiny seeds.  Around 150 species of guavas are found worldwide.  Guava ripens completely in 2 to 8 years. It is a healthy fruit rich in Vitamin C, and potassium, and is a good antioxidant and helps to control the blood sugar level. Different birds and mammals eat guava and facilitate seed dispersal.

An apple tree can grow 40 feet tall and has a life span of about 100 years and originated from Asia. There are around 7500 varieties of apples in the world. The apple contains 25% air and its peel contains two-thirds of the fiber. It contains malic acid, fiber, and Vitamin C which reduces cancer. An apple differs in taste, size, and color and is one of the most consumed fruit. Apple ranges in size and is red, yellow, or green in color and contains around 10 seeds.

Orange originated in Southeast Asia and now is available in around 600 varieties. The prime producer of oranges is Brazil which are grown from October to June. The orange tree can grow 9 to cm long and bears white flowers and endure for 50 years. It is a citrus fruit rich in vitamin C which helps to recover the immune system. It is very much acidic and orange peel removes grease, and oil spots. Its succulent flesh is generally divided into ten segments and is enclosed in orange peel.

A grape has a fleshy covering and is fleshy from the inside. It has around 8000 different varieties and is found in Switzerland. A grape grows on a vine called grapevine which grows 15 meters long.  It is a rounded, egg-shaped berry whose color ranges from green, red, black, yellow, pink, and purple. It is rich in nutrients and antioxidants and contains 80% of water. It contains nitric acid, vitamin K and C and reduced the chances of a heart attack.

One pineapple plant produces just one pineapple at a time and takes 18-20 months to rip completely. A pineapple plant grows 3.3 to 4.9 feet long and has a life expectancy of 50 years and grows faster upside down. About one-third of pineapples in the world are produced by Hawaii making it the largest producer of pineapples. It is known as a luxury fruit because of its high cost. It is an oval and bulky fruit with a 15 cm diameter and a green-grey to the yellow exterior. It contains vitamin C to improve the immune system. At room temperature, a pineapple becomes juicier.

Strawberry is found universally in the United States and is the most loved fruit there. It bears around 200 seeds outside. Strawberry-the first fruit to mature in spring has a minute size and is generally white, blue, purple, yellow, golden, red, or even pink. There are around 103 different varieties of strawberries. It contains vitamin C, and potassium and helps to boost blood flow.
