1. Alligator Snapping Turtle

The Alligator snapping turtle is one of the sneaky aquatic animals that belong to the family Chelydridae.  The body length of turtle species is between 35 to 81 cm in length and the average weight is between 8.4 to 80 kg. Alligator Snapping Turtle is also the heaviest freshwater turtle in the world and the largest freshwater species of turtle in North America.

The name comes from immensely powerful jaws and distinct ridges on its shells that look similar to the skin of an alligator. They are mostly seen in the southeastern United States waters and in the Florida Panhandle west to East Texas, north to southeastern Kansas, Missouri, southeastern Iowa, western Illinois, southern Indiana, western Kentucky, and western Tennessee. The avarage lifespan of an Alligator Snapping Turtle is between 20 to 70 years.

2. Alligator

The alligator is a large reptile believed to have existed on the planet 37 million years ago. As of now, two species of alligators are known, one is an American alligator that lives in the southern parts of the USA and the other one is a Chinese alligator seen in the eastern parts of China.  The body length of an alligator is upto 11.2 feet in length and the average weight is upto 1000 pounds. The dietary habits are carnivores in nature and feed on fish, mollusks, reptiles (including immature alligators), mammals, and birds. The average lifespan of alligators is between 30 to 50 years. 3. Black Mamba

Black Mamba is one of the deadliest snakes in the world mostly seen in  Eastern and Southern parts of Africa.  They are one of the biggest snakes in the world that can grow upto 14 feet in length and the average wieght is upto 3.5 pounds. The name of the snake comes from the inner part of its mouth which is completely black and it will display a black mouth when it is facing danger. The avarage lifespan of up to 11 years in the wild and up to 12 years in captivity. They mostly live in holes in trees and crevices of rocks.

Cats are one of the most popular pets in the world. It is believed that cats are there with for thousands of years and the oldest known pet cat existed around 9,500 years ago. The Egyptian Mau is considered the fastest domestic cat which is able to sprint up to 30 mph. They have excellent distance vision but objects up close can be blurry.  Cats have a total of 18 toes and want to sleep  13 to 16 hours a day which is approximately 70% of thier life.

5. Chameleons

Chameleon is a type of lizard mostly seen in Madagascar (half of all species live there), in Africa, southern Europe, south Asia, and Sri Lanka. They vary in size as per the species and the smallest known chameleon is Brookesia micra which can reach upto 0.6 inches in length and the biggest chameleon is  Furcifer oustaleti, which reaches 30 inches in length. They have unique eyes that can move separately from each other and achieve a visual field of 180 degrees. The average lifespan of Chameleons is upto 10 years in captivity. 6. Black Panther

The Black Panther is a type of wild cat that inhabits America, Asia, and Africa. It is known as a black jaguar in Latin America, as a black leopard in Asia and Africa, and as a black cougar in North America. The adult species can grow between 7 to 8 feet in length and weighs between 100-250 pounds. They are solitary and black animals that only meet during the mating season. The average lifespan of a black panther is up to 12 years and in captivity up to 20. The dietary habits are carnivores in nature and feed on birds, reptiles to large mammals.

Cheetah is one of the most sneaky animals in the world and wild cat species mostly seen in grasslands, savannas, and semi-arid areas of Asia and Africa. The fully grown Cheetah can grow between 4 feet in length and reaches 2 to 3 feet in height at the shoulder. The garage wieght is between 75 to 145 pounds. It preys and primarily feeds on different animals such as warthogs, rabbits, francolins, gazelles, antelopes, impalas, porcupines, springhares, and even ostriches. The avarage lifespan of a Cheetah is upto 12 years in the wild and 17 years in captivity. It is also listed as one of the amazing animals that starts with C.

8. Crocodiles

Crocodiles are large reptiles and can be seen in tropical areas of Australia, Africa, America, and Asia. The closest relative of crocodiles is birds and dinosaurs. It is believed that crocodiles live on Earth for 240 million years. The animal species vary in size where largest crocodile species is the saltwater crocodile which can grow between 13 to 18 feet in length and weigh up to 2200 pounds. The smallest crocodile species is Dwarf Crocodile which can reach 5 feet in length and weigh between 40-70 pounds. The garage lifespan of most crocodiles is between 50 to 60 years in the wild, however, some of them live more than 80 years.

9. Crowned Eagles

The crowned eagle is also known as the African crowned eagle or the crowned hawk-eagle is one of the sneaky animals mostly seen in sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Africa and it is restricted to eastern areas The body length of crowned eagles is between 80 to 99 cm in length and avarage wieght is between 2.5 to 4.7 kilograms.

The avarage top speed of crowned eagles is upto 161 km/hour and the wingspan is between 1.5 to 1.9 meters. The most powerful raptor of sub-Saharan Africa.  The diet consists of mammals and hunts mainly small ungulates (such as duikers, and chevrotains), rock hyrax, and small primates such as monkeys.

10. Alligator Gar

Alligator gars are beautiful fishes with big teeth named because they resemble alligators.  This is the second largest freshwater fish in North America and helps maintain the fish population. The body length can grow upto 10 feet in length and the average wieght is up to 300 pounds. They are mostly seen in the lakes, rivers, estuaries, swamps, bayous, and reservoirs across the southern regions of the United States and eastern Mexico.  The diet consists of smaller fish like carp, shad,  turtles, birds, and even small mammals.
