Known to be created by God himself by splitting this river into two sections, Iguazu Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. 2. Great Barrier Reef, Coral reef in Australia

Covering 348700 km2, the Great Barrier Reef is the largest reef system in the world located in Australia and is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This vast reef containing 3000 reefs, and 900 islands is home to 30 types of whales, dolphins, and porpoises, 6 species of turtle, 17 species of sea snakes, and over 1500 fish types and was formed in 1975. But unfortunately, the Great Barrier Reef is in danger because of poor climatic conditions and pollution caused by humans.

3. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and Zambia

With 108 meters in length and 1708 meters in width, Victoria Falls an element of the Zambezi River holds a place among the world’s seven natural wonders and is one of them. Although Victoria Falls is visible in two countries Zimbabwe and Zambia 75% of the fall comes in Zimbabwe and the remaining 25% in Zambia.

In Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe side, it rains every 365 days of the year. This wonder was so astonishing from the beginning but got esteem when a British named David Livingstone named it Victoria Falls by inspiring from the Queen Victoria name.

4. Mount Everest, Mountain in Asia

With a height of 29029 feet, Mount Everest of Nepal got familiar to us 60 million years and is also renowned as the highest mountain in the world. Also known by the names of Chomolungma and Sagarmatha, this highest mountain is at sea level height.

Requiring almost 10 weeks of the journey to the top various failed attempts were tried to reach the peak of this mountain but the journey to the peak of Mount Everest was firstly completed by Edmund Hillary on 29 May 1953. With the increment in the vastness and size by 40% each year, this mountain is responsible for the death of almost 300 climbers.

6. Amazon Rainforest

Known as the largest tropical rainforest in the world spreading over South America along with Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, and Guyana, the Amazon Rainforest covers an area of 5.5 million Km2. Having 16000 tree species along with 390 billion trees, 40000 plant types, 1300 bird species, 430 mammals, 3000 fish categories, and with 2.5 million types of insects, Amazon Rainforest is rich in biodiversity and is also a home for various tribal people.

The largest river in the world consisting of various small rivers covering 6840 Km also flows in Amazon Rainforest. Being so densely and thickly covered with trees and plants, the dark remains in the entire forest not enabling the rain and light to reach the ground.

7. The Sahara Desert, Desert in Africa

Over 3 million years old, the Sahara Desert is spread over an area of 9.2 million square kilometers. Being the world’s third largest desert, the Sahara Desert covers a major portion of North Africa. Present between two cold deserts Arctic and Antarctic, Sahara is surprisingly a hot desert with a temperature of 38 to 46 degree Celsius.

Due to constant climatic changes and natural processes, it has increased its size to about 10%. Animals like camel, goat, cheetah, ostrich, and lizards are found here. Goods such as copper, gold, and salt were a great source of income from the Sahara Desert using camels.

8. Marble Caves, Nature preserve in Chile

Found 6000 years ago, Marble Caves are also renowned as Cuevas de Marmol. These complex caves are sited near Southern Chile and include caves, tunnels, and pillars. Due to constant water erosion, this wonderful marble cave was created naturally. It is so glorious that the color of the cave keeps on changing with the season showing rainbow colors. Glaciers melt and form water which results in different shades of blue with the tone of pink and white. One can visit and explore marble caves in December and March to get the best view using only boats.

9. Lake Hiller, Lake in Australia

A 600 meters long lake 250 meters in width located on the Middle Island of Western Australia is Lake Hiller and was firstly explored on 15 January 1802 by Matthew Flinders. Having very salty water with eye-catching vibrant pink water is the main canter of attraction of this lake and sand with various trees form the surroundings of the lake.

Dunaliella Salina, algae, microbes, and halo bacteria give the lake beautiful pink color and have an area of 1.5 hectares. Free from dangerous fishes and water animals, this lake is suitable for swimming but the salty water in the lake can cause major health issues drinking.

10. Angel Falls, Venezuela

The world’s tallest waterfall, the Angel Falls is established in the mountains of Venezuela. It is about 3212 feet high and originates from the longest river in South America and is itself the highest waterfall and one of the natural wonders of the world.

You can only view these falls from planes or by boats and due to this exception, it is one of the most loved spots of tourists and people from all over the world trips over here. One can also fly to Canaima National park and then hire a boat to reach Angel falls. The most appropriate time to capture this beautiful fall is during the rainy season months of June to December.
