1. Dogs

Dogs are one of the most variable mammals on earth and have distinct traits related to morphology such as size, skull shape, tail phenotype, fur type, and coat color. It is believed that domestic dogs have appeared since 9,000 years ago on Zhokhov Island, arctic north-eastern Siberia. One of the most loyal animals in the world are product of the controlled breeding practices of the Victorian era (1830-1900) and accurate documentation has been done by the establishment of the English Kennel Club in 1873. The partnership between humans and dogs is believed to be established because of the human need for help with herding and hunting and early alarm systems.

2. Goats

A goat is a type of ruminant that belongs to the family Bovidae and is one of the most common farm animals in the world.  It is said that they are dependents of wild goats (probably Bezoar ibex) which is native to southwest Asia and eastern Europe. The animal species can reach between 16 to 42 inches in height and the average weight is between 20 to 250 pounds. They have excellent night vision and a wide visual field that helps detect predators without moving the head. The avarage lifespan of the goat is between 15 to 18 years. The pregnancy in goats lasts 150 to 180 days and ends with one or two babies, called kids.

Parrots are intelligent colorful birds. As of now, 393 different parrot species are e known to humans including macaws, parakeets, lorikeets keas, lovebirds, cockatiels, and cockatoos. They are found in the regions of all tropical and subtropical continents and regions of Central America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Oceania. The avarage lifespan of parrots is between 10 to 95 years, depending on the species. These social birds often gather in flocks of 10 to 30 individuals and are popular as one of the most loyal animals in the world.

Pigs are believed to be domesticated between 13.000 to 12.700 years BC in the Near East. As of now, there are more than 500 types of pigs and approximately 2 billion pigs around the world today.  They can reach between 35 to 71 inches in length and the average weight is between 110 to 770 pounds. Talking about appearance, they have a large head, elongated snout, small eyes, triangular ears, large body, and short stubby legs. Pigs are known to be intelligent and loyal animals and some studies are proving that pigs are smarter than 3-years-old kids and dogs. The species use 20 different sounds to express their feelings and are best known for thier squeals, oinks, and grunting noises. The avarage lifespan of pigs is between 6 to 10 years in the wild.

Horses are one of the loyal animals that are believed to be domesticated 5.000 years ago in central Asia. As of now, there are 300 different breeds of horses and approximately 60 million horses in the world today that are primarily used as working animals and even in racing, competitions, and shows or for recreation. The avarage length of the horse is between  56 to 72 inches in height and between 840 to 2200 pounds of weight. Horses have the biggest eyes of all land mammals and can visual field of nearly 360 degrees. The avarage lifespan of horses is upto 25 years.

6. Duck

Ducks are one of loyal animals that live in both freshwater and ocean waters and can be seen on all continents except for Antarctica.  The most abundant duck is the Mallard duck and even one of the wide-ranging ducks on Earth. They are very closely related to the Geese and Swans in the Anatidae family. The female duck is known as a ‘hen’ and can be easily identified by their very dull, brown feathers. The male species of the duck is known as  ‘drake’ and can be identified with the help of its brightly colored feathers.

7. Guinea Pig

Guinea pig also known as cavy is one of the domesticated species of rodent that belongs to the cavy family. It is believed to originated from the Andes in South America and was brought to Europe by Spanish sailors in the 15th century where it was instantly popular as a house pet because of its loyalty, docile nature, and responsiveness to feeding. The dietary habit is vegetation in nature and feeds on grass and different types of vegetables.  The avarage lifespan of Guinea pigs is between 4 to 5 years in the wild, however, they can even survive upto 8 years. 8. Cats

Cats are mammals that don’t taste sweetness, however, thier peripheral vision and night vision are much better than those of humans. These species are most active at dawn and dusk. It is one of the most beloved animals in the world and is a scientifically proven freeloader, Posluns says. Europe introduced cats into the Americas as a form of pest control in the 1750s and now there are up to 70 million feral cats in the United States alone. 

9. Rabbits

Rabbits are small mammals and one of the most loyal animals in the world that belong to a group of animals called Lagomorphs.  They are found on all continents except Antarctica and prefer to thrive in regions of deserts, marshes, and grasslands.  The body length is upto 16 inches in length and the body length is between 2 to 3 pounds. They are known to have excellent senses, but they are nearsighted. They are known to have fluffy fur and over 150 different varieties of coat colors.

10. Wolf

Wolf is the largest member of the canine (dog) family and is found in the regions of North America, Eurasia, and North Africa. They appear in different colors such as white, black, and grey. The diet of the species mostly consists of meat and bones and hence they have very strong jaws with 42 sharp teeth which are naturally designed for stabbing, crushing, and shearing. The Thevocalizationn of the wolf is an important characteristic of the pack where each wolf howls for just 5 seconds, however, it may sound longer when the group of wolves howls together. Vocalization is used for communication within the pack and is even used to alert other packs when they are crossing territorial boundaries. The avarage lifespan of the wolf is upto 13 years in the wild and up to 16 years in captivity.
