1. Chimpanzee

A chimpanzee can grow up to 95 cm and weigh up to 65 Kg with an average life expectancy of 33 years. It has a black face, hands, and feet with a white body covered with black or brown hair. It is found in the Tropical forests of Central and West Africa. Humans and chimpanzees are considered to have common ancestors due to alike facial expressions and they also share around 98% genetic blueprint.

The chimpanzee is an omnivorous animal and noshes on a wide range of plants and meat like mangoes, bananas, apples, barks, flowers, figs, and nuts. Moreover, the chimpanzee is stated endangered by IUCN owing to continuous habitat loss, poaching, and deforestation.

2. Lion

As we all know the lion is known as the King of the Jungle and one of the apex predators in the world. Lion is found in the woodlands of Africa, Northern India, and parts of Eurasia. Lion weighs up around 225 Kg and measures about 5 ft – 8 ft in length.  Lions are members of the family of cats called Felidae. Lions typically live in groups called pride. A single pride can have about 10 – 45 members. Lions usually favor cooperative hunting.

Tigers are popular apex predators or solitary hunters and generally search for food alone at the night. They are known to be good swimmers and are often seen cooling in the pool or stream of water. The roar of the tiger is powerful and it can be seen as far as 3 kilometers away in the forest.

Tigers can run fast and can attain a maximum speed of 65km/h. The animal patterns on the skin of the tiger are unique and no two tigers have the same stripes. 4. Hippopotamus

The hippopotamus weighs between 130-320 Kg and measures about 209-505 cm and its tail length are about 35 cm. The skin tenor of the Hippopotamus is generally purple grey with brownish eyes and thick hair.  The standard life duration of the Hippopotamus is around 55 years. 

One of the amazing land and water animals in the world, Hippos are terrifically destructive due to which they even bother boats in rivers if they are tremendously aggressive they can even show aggression to crocodiles and lions. Their gigantic size and large teeth make them a stern menace. Regardless of such enormous bodies hippos can run at a pace of 20 mph and can hound humans as well.

5. Polar bear

The stunning Polar bears are the largest carnivores on the Earth pondering around 720 Kg and length of about 7-10 feet. Polar bears are generally found in the islands, seas in Arctic Circle, and the vast icebergs. One of the amazing land and water animals in the world, Polar bears are brawny swimmers and expend major of their life on seas.

They can cover up around 63 miles in the Arctic sea with the help of their potent paws. The only enemies of Polar Bears are humans. But remember Polar bears can kill you with the help of their powerful paws. Polar bear prefers living on land and spends approx half of their life there.

6. Sea cucumber

Sea cucumber is about 6.5 feet elongated and has life anticipation of 5-10 years. It resembles a cucumber and has tiny tentacles all over the body for feeding and locomotion.
