1. Killdeer

The Killdeer is a large plover bird found in the Americas and one of the birds chirps at night.  The body length of bird species is between 20 to 28 cm in length and the average weight is between 71 to 121 grams. The avarage lifespan of killed deer is between 10 to 11 years. The name of the bird species was given in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus in the 10th edition of his Systema Naturae.  The dietary habits are carnivores in nature and feed on insects, beetles, millipedes, worms, snails, spiders, and some seeds.  It is also one of the dumbest animals in the world because though it can fly but still spends most of the time on the ground.

2. Secretary Bird

The secretarybird is a bird of prey endemic to Africa and prefers mostly grasslands and savanna, of the sub-Saharan region.  The bird species was described in 1779 by  John Frederick Miller and is an order of Accipitriformes. It is also one of the most graceful animals in the world.

The body length of the secretor bird is between 112 to 150 cm in length and the average weight is between 3.7 to 4 kilograms. The avarage lifespan of a secretary bird is between 10 to 19 years. The dietary habits are carnivores in nature and feed on locusts, beetles, hares, mongoose, crabs, lizards, snakes, tortoises, small birds, bird eggs, and sometimes dead animals killed in grass or bush fires.

3. Komodo Dragon

Komodo Dragon is one of the lizards that look like dragons known for its dirtiest mouth in the animal kingdom and it is listed as the dumbest animal in the world because these lizard species can eat up to 80% of their body weight in a single meal and do not know when to stop eating. One of the animals that starts with k is known to fight with other dragons and even bite each other during the fight. Komodo dragons are cold-blooded animals and spend much of their time in the sun to heat themselves. They are great swimmers and can swim from one island to another. It is also listed as one of the apex predators in the world.

4. Panda Bear

Panda Bear is a bear subspecies dietary habits are carnivorous based on the digestive system which is not suited for the herbivore diet, however, it spends most of its time eating bamboo. One of the animals with small eyes has unique fur where the skin is black under the black fur and pink under the white fur.

The giant panda’s population is declining and it is one of the animals affected by deforestation. There are no such natural enemies of pandas because of thier size only small cubs and old pandas can be the potential meal of the snow leopard. Kakapo is one of the weirdest bird species of parrot in the world endemic to the regions of New Zealand. The flightless bird prefers lowland forests and subalpine scrublands, however, it is classified as critically endangered and one of the rarest birds on the planet. The bird species are active during the night and roost in the trees or on the ground during the day. They feed on fruits, seeds, leaves, roots, nectar, and fungi. The mating season of the bird takes place from December to April when makes reproduces at the age of 4 years and females after 2 years.
