1. Bosnia-Herzegovina
- The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina has a medium blue field with a yellow right triangle, and there are in total seven full five-pointed white stars along with two half stars top and bottom along the hypotenuse of the triangle.
- The three points of the triagle in the flag represent three main ethnic groups or constituent peoples of the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, named Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs. The traingle also represents the approximate shape of the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- The stars in the flag represent the infinite, and hence they will continue from top to bottom.
- The colours of the flag represent neutrality and peace (white, blue, and yellow). These colours are also associated with Bosnian culture and history.
- The blue background is evocative of the flag of the European Union.

2. Nauru
- The flag of Nauru was selected in a local design competition and adopted on independence day, January 31, 1968.
- The design of the flag represents Nauru’s geographical position, with a star just south of the Equator that also represents the geographical location of the island nation.

- Nauru Island is surrounded by a coral reef, which is exposed at low tide and dotted with pinnacles. A sandy beach rises to the fertile ring around the raised coral reef.

3. Uruguay
- The national flag of Uruguay has nine equal horizontal stripes, alternating white and blue. The flag was first adopted by law on December 18, 1828, and had 19 alternating stripes of white and blue until July 11, 1830, when the country passed a new law to reduce the alternating stripes to nine.
- The Uruguay flag was designed by Joaquín Suárez.
- The horizontal stripes on the flag represent the nine original departments of Uruguay, based on the U.S. flag, where the stripes represent the original 13 colonies.

- The capital city of the country is Montevideo, which is also the largest city in Uruguay. The capital is situated on the southern coast of the country, on the northeastern bank of the Río de la Plata.
- The highest point in Uruguay is Cerro Catedral, with an altitude of 513.66 metres (1,685.2 feet).
