A rat is a type of rodent that belongs to the family Muridae. Rats are larger, heavier, and longer than mice. The body length of rats can vary between 9 to 11 inches and wieght between 12.3 to 23 ounces. Talking about the appearance, rats have a large, broad head with blunt snout. The eyes and ears are smaller compared to the size of the head. Rats come with an instinct to hunt, kill, and eat mice. The avarage lifespan of rats is between 2 to 3 years.

The cow is a large farm animal that belongs to the family Bovidae. It is belived that the domestication of cows started 10,500 years ago in Turkey and now humans have created 800 different breeds of cattle that we know today. The body length of a cow is up to 8.5 feet in length and the avarage widget is up to 1200 pounds. They are social animals that live in herds and even form a close bond with 2 to 4 members of the group and spend their time with them. The avarage lifespan of a cow is upto 20 years, but it usually lives much shorter.
7. Owl
The owl is one of the animals with 3 letters that is found in every continent except Antarctica. As of now, 200 species of owls are known to humans, and their habitats are deserts, mountain areas, open grasslands, and forests. The size of the owl depends on the species, the smallest known owl species is the Elf Owl which can reach only one ounce and length of 5 inches. Hen is the one that produces 300 eggs per year, however, depending on the variety of chicken, eggs can be white, brown, pink, greenish, or bluish-colored. It used to roll her eggs in the nest upto 50 times per day and even talks to the chicks while they are inside the eggs. The incubator lasts for 21 days. They fiercely guard offspring and teach the chicks what is good to eat and what not. Hens are extremely affectionate and feel empathy for their chicks.

Ant is a type of social insect and there are more than 12.000 species of ants known to humans and there are many species that are not discovered yet. It is believed that they existed on the planet 130 million years ago and can be found on all continents except Antarctica. Talking about the appearance, they have a large head along with elbowed antennae, strong jaws, narrow waist, and three pairs of legs. Only the queen and males of some species of ants have wings. Depending on colonies and species, ants can from several weeks to a few years, however, the queen can survive up to 30 years.
10. Elk
Elk is a large mammal that belongs to the family of deer. As of now, 10 species of elk are known to humans found in North America and Asia. The avarage length of Elk is between 4 to 5 feet and the avarage weight is between 325 to 1100 pounds of weight. The dietary habit is herbivore in nature and feeds on tree sprouts, forbs, grass, and bark. The natural enemies of elks are bears, mountain lions, coyotes, and wolves. The arming season takes place from September to October. The avarage lifespan of 8 to 12 years in the wild and 20 years in the captivity.
