1. Zonkey
Zonkey can grow up to 3.5 to 5 feet tall and weighs about 80 to 450 kg. It is found generally in the open woodlands and the savannas of Africa. Its life expectancy is about 15 to 25 years. Zonkey is reproduced by the cross-breeding of two animals namely zebra and donkey.
Zonkey has a dark-shaded body of gray, tan, or brown color, light underparts and legs, head and ears resembling the donkey, dark mane, and black tail. Its whole body is covered with black colored stripes but is clearly visible just on the legs and underparts. Its running speed is so fast at 60 km per hour. Zonkey is a herbivore species feeding mostly on plants, berries, grasses, herbs, fruits, and shrubs.

2. Zebu
Zebu can grow up to 34 to 42 inches long and weighs 331 to 440 lb. It is found in savannas, grasslands, agricultural lands, open plains, and the tropical jungles of Asia, Europe, and Africa. It has an average life expectancy of about 20 years.
Zebu is a strongly built animal with a grey, brown, red, white, or black body covered with short hair, a huge hump, and big horns and dropping ears. It is known to run at a speed of 25 mph. Zebu is a herbivore animal and feeds mostly on grasses, leaves, bushes, shrubs, roots, seeds, wood, flowers, barks, stems, and plants.
3. Zebra Pleco
Zebra pleco is about 4 inches long and used to be found in the Amazon River and the Xingu River. It has a life span of about 10 to 15 years. Its body is black in color covered with white stripes on the whole body and has long whiskers. It is very shy in nature and almost comes out at night. Zebra pleco is an omnivore and feeds mostly on detritus, algae, and many other small untreated matters found in the bottom of the water. Zebra Pleco is known to be an endangered species now because of its striking nature.

4. Zebra
Zebra is a mammal weighing around 440 to 990 pounds and is about 3.5 to 5 feet in size. It has a life expectancy of about 25 years and runs at a speed of 65 km per hour. The whole body of the zebra is covered with black and white prints and surprisingly every zebra has a unique pattern of stripes. It is a herbivore animal species feeding on plants, shrubs, bushes, fruits, barks, and leaves. It is one of the popular animals that start with Z.
5. Zebra Snake
The Zebra snake is also acknowledged as the Western Barred Spitting Cobra and is about 4 feet long. It is found in deserts, rocky areas, shrublands, cliffs, savannas, and mountain regions of South Africa, Namibia, and Angola. It has a life expectancy of more than 12 years.
Zebra snake is all black in color and the body has white stripes except the head and hood. It is one of the most venomous and deadliest snakes and its venom can cause several problems like swelling, blindness, pain, paralysis, and even death of the person also. Zebra snake is a carnivore species feeding on various rodents, fishes, eggs, birds, and other small reptiles.

6. Zebra finch
Zebra finch can grow up to 10 to 11 cm long and weighs around 15 to 30 grams. It is found in subtropical dry habitats and the savannas of Central Australia. It has life anticipation of about 12 years. The Zebra finch is a very gracious and societal bird.
The male Zebra finch has a gray back and head, orange cheek, and a tail covered with black and white lines. The female Zebra finch possesses a gray-colored body with a black beak. Zebra shark can grow around 9 feet long and weighs about 44 to 66 lb. it is found in the coral reefs and sandy zones of Japan, India, Australia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Indo Pacific Ocean, Indonesia and the Philippines and in the tropical waters of Palau, Madagascar, Maldives, and Tonga.
It has average life anticipation of 25 to 30 years. Zebra shark has a brown, gray, white, or yellow body with young ones having dark yellow stripes and adults with black patches, cylindrical and stretchy body, and flat head. Zebra shark is omnivore species and depends upon snails, crustaceans, squids, mollusks, fishes, and snakes.

Zorilla can grow up to 11 to 15 inches long and weighs nearly 1 to 1.5 kg. it is found in the open woodlands and the savannas of South Africa. It has life anticipation of about 6 to 13 years. Basically, Zorilla is a black colored animal with white stripes on the entire body, a fluffy and furry gray tail, pointed claws, and white patches on the cheek and the forehead. Zorilla is moderate-looking species with a foul smell. It can run at a speed of 15 mph. Zorilla is a carnivore animal and depends on tiny rodents, mice, frogs, snakes, insects, rabbits, and eggs for nourishment.

9. Zorse
Zorse has a body weight of 227 to 450 kg and can grow 130 to 163 cm long. It is found generally in the open grasslands and the savannas of North America, East Africa, and South Africa and is also identified as Zebroids. It has a life expectancy of about 15 to 30 years.
Zorse is a brawny species with a brown, tan, or black furry body covered with black dark stripes on the legs, neck, and hind and light stripes on the remaining body, dark black ears and eyes, long muscular legs, and astonishing neck covered with beautiful hair. It can run at a speed of 64 km per hour and is an herbivore feeding on plants, grass, leaves, bushes, and berries.

10. Zuchon
Zuchon has a weight of about 3 to 8 kg and is 6 to 12 inches tall. It is found in the planes of the United States. It has life anticipation of 15 to 18 years.
